The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has announced that the 26th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will witness the significant participation of companies specializing in digital transformation, cyber security and the security of networks and information systems.

According to Amac News: The announcement of DEWA states that WETEX 2024 is with major local and international companies specializing in energy, sustainability, water, green buildings, smart grids, electric vehicles, etc.
It is organizing the 26th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition WETEX 2024 from October 1 to 3, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Center, according to the announcement.
After more than a quarter of a century since its launch, WETEX has become an ideal platform to showcase the latest technologies in global trends and fields that help shape a more sustainable, prosperous and secure future, the announcement said.
The UAE has been ranked fifth in the 2021 Global Cyber ​​Security Index (GCI) issued by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
 WETEX also stimulates innovation in cyberspace, facilitates the exchange of expertise related to providing integrated and proactive protection against cybersecurity risks, and supports efforts to secure digital infrastructure.
This will increase the safe digital transformation and increase the readiness of public and private organizations and individuals to face the challenges caused by the widespread use of smart and digital technologies, which are key pillars in various sectors.
The exhibition promotes the development of ways to deal with cyber threats and risks facing smart cities.
