The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) said in a statement that Khalid Mohammed Balama, its governor, attended the 48th regular meeting of the Council of Arab Central Banks and the heads of monetary authorities.

According To Amac News: The meeting was held in Cairo, Egypt, the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) said in a statement.
The meeting discussed priority economic issues, monetary policy management amid a challenging and uncertain environment, and the impact of private sector debt on financial stability in Arab countries, the statement said.
The meeting also addressed the role of central banks in addressing climate change issues and regulatory frameworks for AI applications in the financial sector.
