Federal Tax Authority Attends Belt and Road Initiative Cooperation Forum in Hong Kong

According To Amac News: The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) said in a statement that the fifth meeting of the Cooperation between Tax Agencies for the Belt and Road Design was held in Hong Kong.
The three-day conference was attended by representatives of tax authorities, international organizations, tax experts and numerous companies from around the world, the statement said.
During the meetings, ways to strengthen tax cooperation mechanisms between countries and the Belt and Road region were discussed.
The aim of the meeting is to create a supportive environment for economic growth and joint coordination to maximize opportunities to improve tax efficiency, optimize systems and expand digital transformation.
The Federal Tax Authority said the meeting served as an important platform to address emerging tax challenges, based on best practices and to implement the mechanisms agreed under the Nur-sultan Action Plan on Tax Certainty, Tax Digitalization, Improving the Tax Environment and capacity building in this regard.
