WETEX 2024 supports the UAE
According to Amac News: In a statement from the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, WETEX gathers innovative solutions from thousands of local and international companies specializing in sustainability and clean energy, while promoting climate finance and investment in clean energy systems.
WETEX continues to be based on the consensus of the United Arab Emirates that was agreed upon during the COP28 held from 30 November to 13 December 2023 at Expo City Dubai.
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organizes WETEX every year under the instructions of the Chairman of the Supreme Energy Council of Dubai. The 26th edition was held from October 1 to 3, 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
WETEX supports the UAE's 2050 Energy Strategy and plays a key role in multilateral actions to achieve global climate goals.
As the region's largest exhibition for renewable and clean energy and energy storage efficiency technologies, and as one of the largest specialized exhibitions worldwide, WETEX supports the outstanding results of COP28.
This exhibition helps to strengthen cooperative relations and mobilize efforts to achieve the interests of the UAE and the world. WETEX provides a significant opportunity to learn about market needs and future projects and explore opportunities to participate in renewable and clean energy projects and programs in the UAE and across the region.
