The 28th IRENA Council will also discuss national experiences in energy transition, challenges and opportunities for increasing the mobilization of financial resources towards renewable energy and innovative technologies and the necessary partnerships for energy transformation in small island economies.
The two-day meetings will also jointly review the implementation of the agency's work program and budget.
IRNA recently launched the global campaign "#3x renewable energy for the planet and its people", designed to move and collaborate towards tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030.
