According to the announcement, in this meeting, the farmers were acquainted with the national program "Grow the Emirates" and the National Center for Agriculture, which was launched by the Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
These initiatives support the UAE's strategic goals to strengthen agricultural development, promote sustainable national food security, foster new partnerships with the private sector, expand green spaces across the country and ensure their sustainability.
In this meeting, the key goals of the national program "Plant the Emirates" and the National Agricultural Center for the upcoming period were reviewed.
These goals include increasing agricultural productivity, expanding the number of productive and organic farms, promoting the adoption of climate-smart agricultural solutions, and providing training programs, consulting, and financing for agricultural projects.
The meeting provided a platform for open dialogue between ministry officials and farmers, allowing farmers to outline their priorities and shape the efforts of the National Agriculture Center for the next phase according to their specific needs.
