 Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has announced the establishment of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce in an announcement.

According to Amac News: The announcement of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce states that this council was created to support the growth of trade and bilateral investment.
According to the announcement, the opening ceremony of the council was held with the presence of more than 100 government and business figures, with the presence of Phạm Minh Chính, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Council explored ways to strengthen economic cooperation and encourage bilateral investments in several critical sectors, focusing on opportunities in the green economy, digital transformation and innovation.
In the launching meeting of this council, several agreements were signed between the UAE and Vietnamese parties. These agreements included Vietnam Airlines and Etihad Airways and Emirates to support cooperation in the aviation sector.
75 new Vietnamese companies have been registered as members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in the first nine months of this year, bringing the total number of active Vietnamese companies to 176 by the end of September.
The Vietnam-UAE Business Forum was organized as part of ongoing efforts to create sustainable growth in non-oil trade between Dubai and Vietnam, which is expected to reach 31.7 billion dirhams during 2023. This represents an annual increase of 12.2% compared to AED.
Earlier this year, the Dubai International Chamber also led a very successful business mission to Ho Chi Minh City as part of the "New Horizons" initiative. During this mission, the Chamber facilitated 180 bilateral business meetings between companies from Dubai and Vietnam.
