Amac News: the announcement stated that the purpose of this partnership is to strengthen cooperation to support global business communities, with a focus on digitizing trade and improving access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Under this agreement, the Dubai Chambers of Commerce Assessment Tool will be developed to support the ICC and its member chambers worldwide.
Another objective of this action is also to increase the positive impact on the business community and the added value that global chambers provide to different sectors.
According to Dubai Chambers, this will be done through sharing knowledge, expertise and empowering global chambers using this assessment tool.
The partnership also aims to strengthen cooperation to support global trade and small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as enhance joint efforts to promote the digitalization of trade in line with ICC digital standards.
ICC is the world's largest trade organization with a network of 45 million companies in more than 170 countries.
According to the announcement, the agreement underscores Dubai's strategic role as a leading global trade hub that connects markets and international supply chains.
The agreement also lays the groundwork for future projects led by the Dubai Chambers of Commerce in partnership with the ICC.
