According to Amac; Today (Monday, May 14), the World Food Program has said in X that this humanitarian aid of the European Union to Afghanistan is worth 20 million euros.
According to the newsletter, this organization added that this money will help the food security of 300,000 Afghan citizens in 26 provinces.
This is while the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said recently that the European Union has contributed 25 million euros to this fund to improve the educational environment in Afghan schools.
UNICEF published a statement on X that many schools in Afghanistan do not have enough qualified teachers, water and sanitation facilities, educational materials and perimeter walls.
This international organization added that this EU aid will improve the quality of infrastructure in 385 public primary schools.
Rafaela Iodis, head of the EU delegation in Afghanistan, said that classrooms should feel like a second home for children.
Mrs. Ayudis stated that when the classrooms are favorite and safe for the child, children will be motivated to learn and their number will increase.
