Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) of the UAE, which participated in the 'Critical Process Equipment Days' event in Italy, showcased investment opportunities.
HFZA seeks to attract investors in Italy
According to Amac News: Saud Salim Al-Mazrouei, director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA), announced in this event that this free zone has developed the steel and iron industry and made it a dynamic center for investors with strategic access to regional and global markets.
Al-Mazrouei pointed out that this free zone houses more than 450 companies in the steel sector and has an area of ​​50 million square feet.
The HFZA director noted at the event held in Milan that the sector accounts for approximately 16 percent of the total 300 million square feet of the free zone, reinforcing its status as a key hub for the steel industry in the Middle East and Africa.
This event brought together a group of leaders and experts of the steel industry from Europe and other major players in this field.
The HFZA said it intended to showcase Sharjah's investment opportunities and attract new investors by participating in these events.
The delegation of this free zone also participated in several meetings to introduce the facilities, services and strategic advantages of HFZA, including its privileged geographical location.
The delegation noted the key role of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority in promoting economic diversification in the emirate and added that the Free Zone strives to provide diverse opportunities for investors.
In these events, Al-Mazrouei pointed out the strong presence of famous steel companies in HFZA, including Belleli Energy, ArcelorMittal, Lamprell, Eversendai, Technomak, Ungersteel, Zink Power and others.
During the event, the Free Zone introduced the benefits of doing business in its industrial production park, which houses the largest concentration of steel producers in the Middle East and North Africa.
