Amac News: Ghaith Al Ghaith, the company's CEO, commented on Flydubai's presence at the exhibition: "The Bahrain International Air Show is an important event that showcases developments and innovations in the region's aviation industry. We are excited to be here for the first time, and this presence demonstrates our commitment to the Bahraini market, which we have been serving since 2009."
He added, "This exhibition is an opportunity for us to showcase our new cabin interior design, reflecting our commitment to passenger comfort by integrating advanced technology and design to enhance the flying experience."
This year, the airline has retrofitted 15 of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will complete the refurbishment of two more planes by the end of the year. The program will continue into 2025, with plans to retrofit up to 20 aircraft in its fleet, providing a seamless and improved experience for its passengers.
Bahrain is an important market for Flydubai, and the airline operated more than 2,800 flights to this destination between January and October this year. Since entering the market in 2009, Flydubai has transported over four million passengers between Dubai and Bahrain. The airline currently operates 31 weekly flights between the two cities.
