The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) in Sharjah has announced that Singapore-based Seagull Pte Ltd, a leading company in maritime services and ship repair, has established a facility named "Seagull New Horizon" in the free zone.
Seagull launches offshore facility in HFZA
According to Amac News: HFZA stated that this initiative reflects the appeal of the free zone as a significant hub for industrial companies looking to expand their operations regionally and globally.
The facility is aimed at enhancing Seagull Pte Ltd's activities in HFZA, focusing on the maritime industry and providing services related to ship repair and other maritime activities.
As per HFZA's announcement, the facility will assist in the repair and maintenance of ships and the development of marine structures, thereby strengthening HFZA's reputation in the maritime sector.
Seagull aims to enhance its presence in the UAE’s maritime industry and focus more on the oil, gas, and wind energy sectors with the establishment of this facility.
According to HFZA's announcement, the facility will be fully equipped to offer a wide range of specialized services, including ship repairs at anchor, hydraulic and mechanical maintenance, marine equipment development, electrical installations, and structural fabrications for offshore, subsea, and wind farm projects.
Maniam Babu, the founder and CEO of Seagull, explained that HFZA's strategic location and infrastructure support Seagull’s specialized services in the oil, gas, marine, and renewable energy sectors, enhancing operations across the Middle East.
