According to Amac News: Based on the statement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan said that the purpose of this invitation, which was made on the sidelines of the Istanbul 2024 International Halal Exhibition, is to develop trade relations between the two countries.
Based on the statement, in this meeting, Mr. Azizi discussed the sustainable use of the Lapis Lazuli route with the official of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.
It is worth noting that after the fall of the previous Afghan government in 2021 and the change of regime in the country, many countries, including Azerbaijan, sought to review their relations with the new Afghan government.
