Amac News: Based on Kpler data, higher supplies to key markets in the United States and West Africa were the reason for the increase in November exports.
European gasoline exports to the United States have surged in recent weeks ahead of expected demand during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Exports to the United States were 33 percent higher in November than in October, reaching about 157,000 barrels per day, the highest since August.
European gasoline exports to West Africa also rose to their highest level in three months. Shipments to Lomé, the capital of Togo, reached more than 108,000 barrels per day, almost 10 times the level shipped in October. However, the volume is half the level of exports last year.
Europe also had an unusual surge in gasoline exports to Saudi Arabia, with around 200,000 barrels per day shipped to the Red Sea ports of Yanbu and Jeddah. However, this recovery is expected to be short-lived and exports are expected to decline in the coming weeks.
