According to
Amac News, the factory will carry out research, design, production, packaging and testing in related fields, according to the media.
Nguyen Khac Lec, Director General of the Vietnam Information and Communications Technology Administration, said that companies that invest in the factory will be supported.
He explained that 30 percent of the total investment for the factory will be paid directly by the Vietnamese government from the central budget, provided that the factory is established and in production by December 31, 2030.
Last year, Vietnam issued a strategy for the development of the semiconductor industry until 2030 with a vision to 2050.
