According to
Amac News, the three-day event, which runs from Friday to Sunday, is bringing together more than 100 developer communities from around the world, according to China Central Television (CCTV).
The gathering aims to discuss industrial solutions for large language models and promote AI applications.
The conference will also highlight advances in key areas of AI, including large-scale models, computing power and software ecosystems.
The event comes as global attention is focused on China’s growing influence in the AI sector, highlighted in particular by the recent emergence of Chinese startup DeepSeek.
Goldman Sachs strategists predicted that China’s stock market could rise by 15 to 20 percent on Monday, driven by the rapid adoption of AI technologies.
They also predicted that AI adoption could drive $200 billion in investment in the coming years.
According to a report released by the China Internet Network Information Center, more than 16 percent of China’s population will have become users of manufacturing AI by June 2024.
The report also found that about 4,500 companies have integrated manufacturing AI into their operations, with their core business valued at about $80 billion.
