He added that IMEC will complement the India-Myanmar-Thailand Trilateral Highway to Southeast Asia and the Northern Broad Tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh, helping to expand connectivity in a part of the world that was previously hard to reach.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Development of the Northeast region of India also announced that the products with the geographical indication of this region are now entering the global markets.
According to him, these products include aromatic ginger with healing properties, which is traditionally grown in Arunachal Pradesh and is one of the hottest peppers in the world.
