Falcon Technic Receives GCAA Approval for MRO Operations
According to Amac News: This was announced by the GCAA at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Exhibition (MEBAA) 2024.
CAR 145 approval is a certificate awarded to aircraft maintenance and repair companies (MROs) that demonstrates their compliance with specific standards in the field of aircraft maintenance and repair.
Falcon Technic's new MRO facility is located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aviation Center in Dubai and will service a variety of aircraft types, including large models such as the Airbus A380.
The facility also offers special services for VIP aircraft owners and operators, including private lounges, state-of-the-art workshops, an interior design studio and premium maintenance capabilities.
Falcon Technic's CAR 145 approval includes servicing the company's Bombardier Global Express aircraft fleet, with additional approvals for other aircraft types such as Bombardier Challengers, Embraers and the Falcon 2000 Ex Easy in the works. The company is also working to obtain CAR 145 Basic Maintenance Approval and EASA PART 145 certification by 2025.
In addition, Falcon Technic said it is upgrading its services by creating specialized workshops for interior, wheels and brakes, non-destructive testing (NDT), batteries and aircraft painting.
