Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced that it will hold the fourth edition of Hatta Cultural Nights with the aim of introducing the historical and cultural attractions of the region.
Hatta Cultural Nights Program to be held
According to Amac News: Based on the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the event will be held from December 22, 2024 to January 1, 2025 at the Hatta Heritage Village and will include a series of cultural activities, artistic performances and entertainment shows that depict the culture of Hatta.
The event will explore the historical, natural and cultural features of the Hatta region and showcase the elements that strengthen the region’s position as a tourist destination.
The initiative is in line with the comprehensive Hatta development plan, which aims to transform the region into an attractive destination for business, investment and tourism at the local and international levels, and was launched by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The festival will feature poetry nights featuring local poets, as well as folklore and artistic performances by specialized groups showcasing works from Al-Harabiyya, Al-Ayla and Al-Uzzi.
The program will also include live performances by traditional musical instruments such as the rabab and oud, drums and more.
The event will offer a mix of cultural, heritage and recreational experiences, and will include classic car exhibitions, motorcycle tours and workshops on astronomy, Arabic calligraphy and traditional crafts such as Tali embroidery, Sadu weaving, burqa sewing and palm leaf weaving.
In addition, the cultural nights will even host a traditional bazaar showcasing the works of local families and entrepreneurs.
