According to Amac News: Kam Air's statement said that the first flight on this route was made on Wednesday, December 19, from Kabul International Airport to Doha.
This move follows the signing of an air services agreement between Afghanistan and Qatar in November this year.
The airline had recently announced in a statement that direct flights between Kabul and Doha would be launched in the near future.
The Ministry of Transport and Aviation of the acting Afghan government had also announced this summer that an agreement had been signed to operate direct flights with Qatar.
This private Afghan airline currently operates flights from Afghan airports, including Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Kandahar, to foreign countries.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of the acting Afghan government, about 350 flights are operated daily from Afghan airspace.
