The CEO of Dubai Press Club considered the main goal of this initiative to equip digital content creators, especially in the economic field, with the necessary tools to produce effective and quality content.
He added that the Dubai Press Club aims to provide participants with the professional and technical skills needed to succeed in the job market through its training programs. This initiative also aims to strengthen the role of content creators in media development and increase their global competitiveness.
The second week of the program started with a session on the principles of photography, which was held by Mohammad Bush, the production manager at Perception Media. This session addressed photography as a vital element in digital content and included topics such as photography principles, lighting techniques, and practical training to improve visual storytelling.
Another session titled "Becoming a Master in Economic Journalism for Content Creators" with the presence of Editor-in-Chief Lubna Fawaz and Chief Correspondent Neda Abdulsalam, examined the history and impact of economic journalism, key features for content creators, and the principles of producing professional and ethical reports.
Another lecture was given by Ranieh Aytani, Professor of Finance at Marouch University, Dubai, entitled "Analysis of Global Economic Trends and Their Impact on Local Economies". This lecture examined the factors of economic growth, global financial and monetary policies, and the impact of crises such as the 2008 mortgage crisis and COVID-19. The effects of global markets on local economies and the role of technological innovations in economic transformation were also discussed.
In addition, economic content creator Khalid Al Jabri held a workshop titled "How to Increase Your Income as a Content Creator". The workshop covered content revenue streams, revenue maximization strategies, content success metrics, best practices for engaging with advertisers, and types of content that can serve as revenue streams.
The program also included a session titled "The Art of Digital Storytelling: Researching and Simplifying Complex Information," presented in collaboration with Media Perception Academy. This session, with the presence of content creators Ahmed Al-Sabon and Raef Youssef, explored storytelling techniques to simplify complex economic information, create compelling narratives, and develop a unique voice.
Mafoedeh Abdullah, Media Talent Development Specialist at Dubai Press Club, stated that the training program is designed to impart diverse knowledge and skills that add real value to content creators in the economic sphere. He emphasized the need to have high specialized skills to transform numbers and statistics into attractive and accessible content and said that simplifying complex information is the key to producing attractive economic content and increasing its reach and impact.
He also appreciated the participating organizations and partners in the program, which is specifically designed to meet the needs of participating content creators.
