Al-Jaber mentioned the "Operation 300 billion" program, which aims to develop the UAE's industrial sector and strengthen its role in stimulating the national economy.
Another initiative is the launch of the "Make in the UAE" campaign, which invites national and international investors, innovators and developers to join the UAE in the path of industrial growth.
The UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology added that this campaign has identified more than two thousand products worth 143 billion dirhams for local production in its first three periods.
According to him, so far seven billion dirhams of guaranteed purchases and 20 billion dirhams of new industrial investment have been attracted.
The next edition of the forum, said to be the largest and most comprehensive, will be held from 19 to 22 May 2025 at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
The National Domestic Value Program (ICV), one of the "50 projects" of the UAE, has also increased the country's economy to more than 300 billion dirhams. Also, with an 181% increase in spending by participating companies and institutions, the program has succeeded in creating 19,000 jobs in the private sector for Emiratis, including 2,500 jobs in advanced and service industries in one year through the "Industrial Program".
Al-Jaber said that the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) has evaluated more than 500 factories and more than 50 local evaluators and 35 international evaluators from 12 countries.
