Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 has announced that it has launched a startup pitch competition.

According to Amac News: The SEF x 1Tank Startup Pitch Competition is dedicated to entrepreneurship and offers a chance to compete for prizes worth a total of AED 200,000 as well as win free tickets with Air Arabia.
The competition also provides funding opportunities from investors up to AED 500,000.
The competition will focus on four key areas: Educational technology (EdTech), sustainability, creative industries and technology and industry 4.0.
This competition invites aspiring startups from all over the world to present their innovative solutions and respond to the challenges in these sectors.
Interested applicants should submit their presentations, company profiles and a short introduction video by January 26, 2025.
Based on the applications received, 16 startups (4 startups for each axis) will be selected by a jury and accredited investors. These selected entrepreneurs will have 3 minutes to present their business ideas live at SEF 2025, followed by a question and answer session.
Organized by the Sharjah Center for Entrepreneurship (Sheraa), this year's event is held in partnership with '1Tank', an initiative of the social group '1trepreneur' and is designed as a high-stakes startup pitch competition.
The competition focuses on four main themes that address global challenges and encourage disruptive innovation. Each axis offers prizes worth 50,000 dirhams, which is an essential step for ambitious startups.
The festival will take place on February 1 and 2, 2025 and will feature more than 300 world-renowned speakers in 10 zones and 5 spectacular stages.
