Abu Dhabi ALC expands global presence in 2025
According to Amac News: Based on the announcement of ALC, this center seeks to strengthen cooperation with prominent Arab and foreign publishers, display its latest publications and emphasize Abu Dhabi's leading role in supporting culture and the publishing industry at the global level.
Since its establishment, Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center has established strong professional and cultural relationships with leading cultural and creative centers around the world.
The center's participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair 2024 was accompanied by the launch of the "Arabic Book Promotion" initiative, in which 2,000 Arabic book titles were donated to libraries in France, Germany and Spain.
In addition, ALC actively promoted the Arabic language in the "Arab Days" initiatives held in Moscow and Japan, introducing its potential and cultural richness to international audiences.
The foreign partnerships of this center help to create cooperation agreements and implement the "Protocol of Cooperation and Exchange between Book Fairs in the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council" and participation in other international cultural and scientific events.
The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair also aims to attract well-known publishers and authors and promote outstanding initiatives such as the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, the Kenz Al Jail Award and the Sard Al-Dahab Award and the center's projects such as Kalima, Esdarat and teaching Arabic to non-natives.
