Thuraya 4 satellite was launched by SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, USA.
The next generation satellite communications system,Thuraya 4, significantly expands the capabilities of Space42. As one of the largest MSS communications satellites ever produced, this satellite complements the company's plans to introduce more than 15 new products to meet the rapidly growing needs of various sectors, including defense, government and business.
Space42's sixth geostatic (GEO) satellite will provide greater security, faster speeds and wider coverage in Africa, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.

Thuraya is the satellite communications arm of Space42 under Yahsat Space Services. Using the advanced Airbus Eurostar Neo platform, this satellite has a 12-meter L-band antenna and a payload equipped with advanced processing.
These capabilities allow unparalleled flexibility in routing up to 3,200 channels with dynamic power allocation across multiple beam points.
