According to
Amac News: This phase is focused on the development of the Corniche of Sahil Al Mamzar and it is expected that both phases of the project will be completed by the end of 2025.
The total cost of the project in both phases is expected to be around 400 million dirhams.
The move is said to strengthen Dubai's position as a leading global tourism hub and underline its commitment to improving the quality of life and well-being for all.
The shores of Al Mamzar beach with an area of 125,000 square meters and a width of 80 meters have a public beach exclusively for women. Women's Beach also allows for night swimming and offers convenient facilities such as a gym, business services, and children's play areas.
These sidewalks also have 1,000 meters of running, walking and cycling paths that connect the shores of Nahr Al Mamzar and Al Mamzar Park.
Dubai Municipality also said that it will equip this Corniche with public health facilities, including toilets, changing rooms, showers and services for determined people.
The first phase of the development, which started in June last year, has reached 45 percent progress. The project involves the construction of a 200-meter-long pedestrian pontoon bridge to connect the two banks of the creek.
It also has a 300m long night swimming beach along with a 5km boardwalk and jogging and cycling paths along the beach.
