Expo Khorfakkan Exhibition Center has announced that it has recorded important achievements and successes in 2024 and contributed to the growth of the exhibition industry in the eastern region of Sharjah.
Expo Khorfakkan attracted over 900,000 visitors in 2024
According to Amac News: Based on the Expo Khorfakkan announcement, the center has attracted more than 900 thousand visitors by holding more than 15 exhibitions and cultural, economic and commercial events in 2024.
One of the highlights of these events is the book fair, which was held with the presence of many publishers from all over the UAE and hosted prominent cultural and literary writers and personalities.
Other notable events included the annual Mango Festival. This festival depicted the cultural, economic and commercial activities of Khorfakan city and the eastern region and displayed the cultural and economic importance of these areas.
Held in January 2024, the festival attracted more than 10,000 visitors and was accompanied by significant participation from GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia and Oman.
More than 30 participants including farmers, producer families and agricultural companies exhibited more than 150 varieties of mangoes and other fruits, which contributed to the economic and cultural success of the event.
The center is focused on strengthening the role of the exhibition industry in supporting the retail and tourism sectors by holding a series of commercial and promotional events.
These events are designed to provide a unique shopping experience to the residents and visitors of Khorfakan, which is in line with the vibrant tourism atmosphere of the city.
Among the prominent events, we can mention the "Oriental Bride" exhibition, the "Fragrance and Fashion of the Persian Gulf" exhibition, the annual trade event "Al Kadi Exhibition" for Eid al-Adha 2024, and the "Ramadan and Eid Preparations Exhibition".
Expo Khorfakkan also said that in 2025 it aims to host a diverse set of events and exhibitions, including the Khorfakkan Tourism and Sea Sports Expo.
