UAE media reported that the Sharjah Consultative Council will discuss the corporate tax draft law in its seventh meeting scheduled for Thursday this week.

According to Amac News: Based on the UAE state media, this meeting, which is part of the Council's activities in the second regular session of the 11th legislative period, will be held at the Council's headquarters in Sharjah.
After the approval of the minutes of the sixth meeting, the agenda of the meeting will include the review of the draft law on corporate tax for extractive and non-extractive natural resources in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Discussions will also revolve around the report of the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council regarding the draft law.
This meeting will be held with the presence of Rashid Bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, Director of the Central Financial Department, and Fallah Al-Hussaini, Tax Advisor, representative of the Central Financial Department of Sharjah.
