Statistics also show that companies in the labor market have experienced a growth of 17.04 percent, which indicates an increase in investments and economic growth in various sectors.
At the same time, the labor transfer rate between companies was 9%, which indicates the freedom of movement of workers in the UAE. This helps to make the labor market more flexible and prevents forced labor.
These transfer rates are consistent with the member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
In addition, the participation of women in the workforce has faced a significant increase of 20.95%, which shows the success of the UAE's policies in empowering women and increasing their participation in all sectors.
The data also shows a 13.23 percent increase in the number of skilled workers, which points to continued efforts to develop expertise and meet the labor market's need for specialized talent.
At the same time, the government said it has updated labor laws to align with international standards and promote workers' rights, including improving working conditions and providing incentives to increase innovation and productivity.
MOHRE is also implementing advanced electronic systems to streamline administrative processes to ensure transparency and fairness in dealings with workers and employers.
According to the World Bank report prepared in January 2025, the total number of UAE workforce in 2023 reached 7,248,379 people.
