According to Reuters, the price of gold rose 0.2 percent to $2,387.11 per ounce by 0355 GMT. This number is not different from last week's highest record.
Gold prices rose after hitting an all-time high of $2,431.29 on Friday. The price of American gold has increased by 0.9% to $2403.90.
