Fatima Al Suwaidi, Head of Development and Investment (Asia Pacific Region) at the Emirates Masdar Company, has confirmed the company's ambitious goal of achieving 100 gigawatts (GW) of clean energy capacity globally by 2030.

According to Amac News: In a statement on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025, he said that this goal shows Masdar's commitment to accelerating the global transition to clean energy and contributing to climate neutrality.
Al Suwaidi added: "Masdar is a global leader in the clean energy sector. We play a vital role in advancing the UAE's clean energy aspirations and play an important role in the country's commitment to climate neutrality."
In recent years, Masdar, an Emirati state-owned renewable energy company, has successfully developed and implemented more than 31 GW of clean energy projects in more than 40 countries.
