Kyodo News has reported that Tokyo stocks fell by 0.17% on the previous day.
According to Amac News: The average Nikkei shares this morning (Wednesday, April 17) fell by 66.75 units or 0.17% from the previous day to 38404.45 with 225 copies.
The broader Topix index fell 15.57 points, or 0.58 percent, to 2,681.54, Kyodo News reported.
Analysts believe that the US interest rate cut may not happen as speculated and stocks will soon be in negative territory.
