The UAE-Finland Business Council was held yesterday, Wednesday, January 15, in Dubai, with the presence of Petri Orpo, the Prime Minister of Finland, and Hamed Mohammed bin Salem, the Secretary General of the Federation of Emirates Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
UAE-Finland Business Council discusses enhancing trade exchange
According to Amac News: This forum was held under the auspices of the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and in cooperation with the Embassy of Finland in the UAE and "Business Finland".
The council was part of a delegation of more than 35 large Finnish companies visiting with the Prime Minister of Finland and focused on ways to increase bilateral trade, strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of innovation.
The event also explored opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange in sectors such as technology, healthcare, renewable energy, advanced industries and education.
Pointing to the strong business relations between Finland and the UAE in recent years, the Prime Minister of Finland described the UAE-Finland Business Council as an important platform to strengthen cooperation, explore opportunities and identify new areas of cooperation in the future.
Hamed Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary General of the Emirates Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, also emphasized the strong commercial and cultural relations between the UAE and Finland and considered this council an exceptional opportunity to develop and expand these relations.
