UAE participates in International Geological Survey Meeting in Riyadh

According to Amac News: The aim of this summit is to strengthen international cooperation in the mining sector and develop geological capabilities to increase the production of essential minerals that support energy transfer and industrial development.
The UAE delegation, led by Ali Qasim, Director General of Fujairah Natural Resources Company, included representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
The summit discussed a variety of issues, including improving capabilities to expand geological surveys, facilitating further exploration and contributing to scientific advances to solve challenges in geological survey organizations.
The summit also saw the launch of an international initiative to establish three key coordinating groups focused on talent development, data access and the establishment of a geological center of excellence.
The UAE delegation emphasized the need to follow up on the recommendations made during the summit to achieve optimal results in geological and mining activities.
