The United Arab Emirates participates in the 55th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, which will be held from January 20 to 24, 2025.

According to Amac News: The high-level delegation of the UAE is headed by Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the head of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), and consists of more than 100 prominent leaders from government institutions and the private sector.
The UAE called this event vital platform to strengthen international cooperation in various sectors of development, especially in the fields related to the economy, and said that it will continue its active and prominent interaction with it.
According to the UAE state media, the participation of the UAE in Davos 2025 reflects the vision of Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of this country, to strengthen its regional and global role in strengthening cooperation.
This partnership is also in line with the directives of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to prioritize the economic agenda, increase the UAE's global competitiveness in all sectors, and exchanges.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, said: "The participation of the UAE in this meeting emphasizes the country's commitment to maintaining a strong presence and active participation in international platforms in various sectors."
He added that the United Arab Emirates is an important international partner in promoting comprehensive and sustainable development for all nations and societies.
Davos provides a unique platform to strengthen international partnerships in various fields, exchange successful experiences, discover inspiring initiatives, and pursue continuous innovation and development.
Key themes for the UAE's participation include showcasing the country's economic growth, expanding foreign trade, and promoting clean and renewable energy through prominent initiatives and major projects.
For the third year in a row, the UAE will participate in the WEF with a dedicated stand entitled "Nothing is Impossible", reflecting the country's importance to this prestigious global event.
