Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Development Authority (RAK DED) to enhance business services for companies in the emirate.
RAKEZ and RAK DED collaborate to boost business services
According to Amac News: The agreement was officially signed by Mohammed Mahmoud, Deputy Director General of RAK DED, and Katiba Al Issa, Director of Value Added Services at RAKEZ, at a signing ceremony held at the Compass Partners Center.
Under the agreement, RAK DED will help RAKEZ expand its range of value added services, including opening corporate bank accounts, filing corporate tax returns, and accounting and bookkeeping services.
Rami Jalloud, CEO of RAKEZ Group, said: “Empowering businesses is one of the essential pillars for economic growth in Ras Al Khaimah.”
Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Al Shayab Al Naqbi, Director General of RAK DED, said the partnership aims to improve rankings and ease of doing business. He added that the collaboration will increase investment opportunities through the simplification of tax registration and banking services.
