RAKEZ welcomes over 13,000 new companies in 2024
According to Amac News: Based on RAKEZ announcement, this impressive growth represents a 66 percent increase in new registrations compared to 2023.
With this achievement, RAKEZ is now home to nearly 30,000 multinational companies.
The growth in 2024 was mainly driven by commercial activities, including general trading, e-commerce and related businesses, which alone accounted for 53 percent of new company registrations.
This reinforces RAKEZ’s reputation as a thriving hub for trade and businesses seeking strategic access to regional and global markets.
Consulting is also a key contributor to this growth, contributing 24%, while other notable sectors include media and marketing services, wholesale trade and manufacturing.
Entrepreneurs and companies from across the world have contributed to this growth, with India leading the way as a major source of new business.
This reflects RAKEZ’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with India through strategic initiatives, including strengthening trade ties and leveraging the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
Other countries contributing to this growth include investors from Pakistan, the UK, Egypt, the Philippines and other countries. This diversity in representation reflects RAKEZ’s global appeal and its strategic location, which provides businesses with access to regional and international markets.
