The consultative council noted that the organization operates on the basis of a business system that prioritizes environmental sustainability and development. This system ensures that it complies with strict environmental standards aimed at preserving natural resources.
The issue was discussed at a meeting held on Thursday, chaired by Halima Hamid Al Owais, Vice President of the Consultative Council.
The meeting emphasized the importance of collaborating with universities and academies to equip students with the necessary skills for various roles in the organization’s various specialties, and focused on empowering national professionals.
During the meeting, the members of the Advisory Council stressed the need to restructure the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority in order to improve the national investment system. They noted the importance of aligning the organization’s framework with development goals and strengthening Sharjah’s position as a strategic investment hub in international economic forums.
