Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced on Monday, January 27, that it has signed a definitive agreement with K2 Aviation, an aviation investor that invests in mid-life to end-of-life aircraft, to sell 7 Airbus and Boeing aircraft on lease to 6 airline customers.

According to Amac News: Based on DAE, it also signed an agreement with K2 Aviation to provide asset management services.
Under the agreement, DAE will provide K2 Aviation with lease and credit management services, aircraft remarketing, aircraft clearance and aircraft asset management.
“We are excited about this transaction to deepen our relationship with K2 Aviation,” said Firoz Tropoor, CEO of DAE.
Meanwhile, Charles Graham, Chairman of K2 Aviation, said that the acquisition expands K2 Aviation’s relationship with DAE. He added that he expects his company to continue building its portfolio of mid-year assets through 2025.
DAE’s Aircraft Investment Services Group (AIS) is an experienced aviation asset manager with more than 100 aircraft under management valued at $4 billion at the end of 2024. AIS is acting as the servicer in fourteen servicing and management agreements for institutional and financial investors, including seven structured aviation portfolio transactions.
