Dubai Trade has announced that it is transforming its Digital Delivery Order (DDO) platform into Trade+, adding that it will continue to invest in improving the efficiency and speed of trade operations in Dubai’s supply chain and logistics sectors.

According to Amac News: Based on to the platform, Trade+ facilitates the digital exchange of cargo release documents between shipping lines, freight forwarders, consignees and other trade stakeholders, significantly accelerating the cargo release process.
With Trade+ services available at the Dubai Trade and Logistics Unit window, businesses can experience an average of 90% reduction in transaction times, process higher trade volumes and expedite cross-border trade, with tasks that previously took up to 48 hours now being completed in less than 10 minutes.
In addition to streamlining approvals, payments and document transfers, Trade+ also offers environmental benefits by eliminating paper-based processes.
With 100% paperless transactions, the service estimates that it will have prevented the printing of around 2.36 million documents by 2024 and significantly reduced carbon emissions associated with travel, fuel consumption and traffic.
