2PointZero, an investment platform and subsidiary of UAE-owned International Holding Company (IHC), announced the acquisition of a “significant amount” of shares in EHC Investment Company, a company active in the field of energy distribution in the Middle East.

According to Amac News, 2PointZero described the acquisition as strategic in its announcement and said that the move strengthens the commitment of EPointZero – the energy division of the company – to advance decarbonization solutions and develop smart infrastructure in the UAE and beyond.
The acquisition is in line with 2PointZero’s vision to build a global and diversified portfolio focused on innovation, sustainability and value creation.
Maryam Al Muhairi, CEO of 2PointZero Group, said: “Bringing EHC into the EPointZero ecosystem is a step forward. Together, we will leverage AI-powered decarbonization solutions and advanced technologies to create sustainable ecosystems.”
The collaboration will include the deployment of advanced smart grid technologies, AI-powered analytics, and modern monitoring systems.
These innovations aim to reduce waste, optimize resource use, and provide smart energy solutions across the UAE.
