According to Amac News, Abdel Latif stressed in an interview with the UAE state news agency WAM that AOI is committed to strengthening cooperation with Emirati investors to promote joint investments and establish several new factories.
Among the planned projects are a rubber manufacturing plant, a palm leaf MDF manufacturing plant, and a specialized facility in advanced defense industries.
The Arab Organization for Industrialization was established in 1975 with the participation of four Arab countries – Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar – to create a strong Arab defense industrial base.
Today, the organization includes 14 companies and factories, of which seven are dedicated to the defense industry.
