According to
Amac News, the survey, which was conducted with the participation of 5,000 Emirati and non-Emirati families, as well as collective households and workers’ residences, achieved a response rate of 87%.
The survey is part of a nationwide study conducted by the National Center for Competitiveness and Statistics in conjunction with local statistical centers.
The survey aims to examine household income levels, consumption patterns, spending trends, living standards and welfare indicators in order to support the development of laws and programs that help improve individual and social well-being.
Younis Al Nasr, CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Centre, stressed the importance of such surveys, saying that with each study it conducts, the vital role of data becomes more evident.
He added that data plays a crucial role in empowering decision-makers to develop effective strategies in line with national priorities, especially Dubai Social Agenda 33.
The CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Center said that the survey was well-conducted due to the high accuracy and comprehensiveness of the data collection with the efforts of 105 participants, and it reflects the trust of institutions and the awareness of the community about the importance of statistics in decision-making.
