HSBC Bank in the UAE has announced its plans to establish a Center of Excellence in the emirate of Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

According to Amac News, based on a statement from HSBC, this initiative, launched in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), aligns with the UAE and Abu Dhabi governments' vision to develop local talent and increase employment opportunities for UAE nationals in the financial sector.
Set to be operational by the end of 2025, the Centre will serve as a hub for the bank's key operations, including collections and recovery, and customer services. The initiative will also offer training and skills development programs for Emiratis in Al Ain.
The Centre is expected to play a significant role in equipping Emiratis with the necessary skills for success in the financial sector while continuing to deliver exceptional services to clients.
HSBC is collaborating with the UAE Central Bank and Nafis, the Emirati Competitiveness Council, on strategic initiatives to support the UAE's goal of increasing job opportunities for UAE nationals in the private sector.
Moustafa Raouf, Country Head of HR at HSBC in the UAE, stated, "The UAE holds significant strategic importance for HSBC globally. Our new Centre of Excellence in Al Ain is not just an investment in infrastructure but an investment in people and our future generation."
Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, Executive Director of the SMEs Sector at ADDED, also mentioned, "We are pleased to partner with HSBC to provide quality job opportunities for UAE nationals. As we continue to expand our collaborations, our goal is to equip Emirati talent with the skills and opportunities needed to drive Abu Dhabi's transition towards a more resilient, knowledge-based economy."
