According to Amac News, during the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of sustainable infrastructure and transport, noting the long-standing bilateral relations between the UAE and South Africa.
Mansouri stressed that the UAE attaches great importance to strengthening international relations in various sectors, especially infrastructure and transport.
He said that cooperation with South Africa opens up new horizons for boosting mutual investments and developing sustainable infrastructure projects.
He also stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and successful practices between countries to achieve comprehensive sustainable development.
Mansouri introduced his ministry’s strategic projects and pioneering initiatives in the fields of infrastructure and transport at the meeting. He also presented the latest innovative solutions implemented by the ministry, including the use of artificial intelligence technologies and the development of smart roads and green buildings.
On the other hand, Dean McPherson appreciated the UAE’s commitment to developing the infrastructure sector and stressed South Africa’s willingness to strengthen cooperation and benefit from the UAE’s experience in implementing strategic projects.
At the end of the meeting, the parties stressed the importance of continuing coordination and communication between their countries and explored opportunities for future cooperation on projects of mutual interest.
