The Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has announced the launch of its first AI undergraduate program.

According to Amac News, the university’s Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program is multidisciplinary and trains students in AI fields such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics.
The program also provides interdisciplinary training in business, finance, industrial design, market analysis, management, and communications.
The program aims to cultivate multifaceted thinkers and problem solvers who can contribute to the evolution of AI globally.
MBZUAI’s new undergraduate program utilizes a co-pilot learning model that integrates AI into every aspect of a student’s educational journey. AI will play a central role in students’ learning experience and help improve critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The coursework that students will take will include advanced topics such as deep learning, generative AI, and AI for science, as well as business and entrepreneurship education.
Students will also explore emerging areas such as AI for health and medicine, AI for sustainable living, and 3D vision and mixed reality.
