Salik Company, Dubai’s excusive toll gate operator, announced its financial results for the financial year ending December 31, 2024 on Wednesday, March 4.
Salik reports AED 2.3 billion in revenue for 2024
According to Amac News, its total revenue for 2024 increased by 8.7 percent compared to the previous year to AED 2.3 billion.
The company also announced that EBITDA for the full year reached AED 1.6 billion, representing a growth of 13.6 percent compared to the previous year.
Salik’s net profit before tax in the financial year 2024 reached AED 1,279.7 million, representing a growth of 16.6 percent compared to the previous year, while net profit after tax reached AED 1,164.5 million, representing a growth of 6.1 percent compared to the previous year.
In light of the strong financial performance this year, the company’s board of directors has proposed a dividend of AED 619.8 million in the first half of 2025 (equivalent to 8.2645 fils per share). This brings the total dividend for the financial year 2024 to AED 1,164.5 million, equivalent to 100% of the net profit for the financial year 2024 and an increase of 6.1% compared to 2023.
In terms of operations, the number of revenue-generating trips reached 498.1 million trips, an increase of 8.0% compared to the previous year, due to the launch of two new Salik gates.
Expressing satisfaction with his company’s financial performance, Matar Al Tayer, Chairman of Salik, said that Salik achieved what he described as strategic achievements during the past year, such as introducing two new toll gates within its core business and establishing several partnerships.
