Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, announced that in 2024, the EU exported goods worth 213.3 billion euros to China and imported goods worth 517.8 billion euros, resulting in a trade deficit of 304.5 billion euros.

According to Amac News: Based on the statistics, EU imports and exports from China in 2024 decreased slightly by 0.5% and 4.5%, respectively, compared to 2023.
Between 2014 and 2024, EU imports from China grew by 101.9% and exports by 47.0%.
China was the EU's largest trading partner in terms of imports (21.3% of total extra-EU imports) and the third largest partner in terms of exports (8.3% of total extra-EU exports).
In 2024, the most important imported products from China were electrical machinery, electrical appliances and parts worth €96.8 billion; telecommunications and audio equipment worth €60.9 billion; and office machinery and data processing machines, such as personal computers and servers, worth €45.9 billion, classified according to the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) divisions. These three categories alone accounted for 39.3% of total imports from China.
