According to Amac News: The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) has announced that it has partnered with Accenture to implement transformational services for the CBUAE's Supervisory Technology (SupTech) initiative and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) program.
The sup tech initiative will streamline activities for licensed banks and financial institutions and provide best practices for regulatory compliance, protecting the financial system from money laundering and other financial crimes.
The program creates a holistic and comprehensive view of the entire CBUAE ecosystem and ensures that the required data governance standards are used from existing technology to improve data management, analysis and reporting.
Based on this partnership, projects and initiatives aimed at achieving CBUAE's digital transformation will be implemented in focus areas including licensing, supervision and enforcement functions over the next two years.
