The sessions of this forum focused on the role of strategic partnerships in driving economic growth and innovation, mechanisms to support entrepreneurs and the emergence of the UAE as a leading incubator for start-ups and small and medium enterprises in the region.
The aim of this association is to strengthen cooperation between government institutions and private sector companies to advance the growth and diversification of the UAE's national economy.
By 2023, Sharjah will attract 1.8 billion dirhams in foreign direct investment, securing its position as the fifth fastest growing city, the Emirates Development Bank (EDB) said.
EDB Connect is a series of forums brought together by EDB in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
